Europe chooses Mediscs

The company, a publisher of specialised IT software located at the Montpellier Airport Business Park in Pérols, has just been selected as a Eurostars project. The latter is a support programme for European High Tech SMEs with a strong growth potential. It is financed by Eurostars member countries and by the European commission.

Mediscs was chosen for its strong authentication and electronic signature project for mobile phones. The company, presided over by Bernard Delbourg, is leading the project in cooperation with two other European firms, one Spanish and the other Norwegian. Mediscs should receive a development subsidy of between 300 000 and 350 000 Euros. "It’s recognition for our company, because we are classed in the Top 50 European Companies with the highest potential," explains Bernard Delbourg. Moreover, Mediscs has just received more international recognition. Microsoft has just chosen the SME to participate in its IDEES programme. This will enable continued development for the company and the free use of the American giants technical platforms for testing their software. "This decision constitutes recognition from Microsoft of our large development potential in the next two years", explains the Managing Director.
