MEDISCS launches a Mobile Strong Authentication European research and development project

MEDISCS a leader in Consumer Strong Authentication and trusted architecture announces its partnership with SeMarket in ViSAM Project: "Virtual Secure Authentication with the Mobile devices: Cost Effective PKI enabled Security with Multi-platform Authentication".

The aim of the ViSAM project, is to provide a Virtual Smart Card implementing the functions of a real smart card embedded into Smart-Phones, PDAs or any mobile device.

By embedding a virtual smartcard into a mobile device, the device become a strong authentication device that grants access to the user to a wide range of value-added services such as Online Banking, 3D Secure Payment, documents/ forms signature, personal data encryption/decryption...

ViSAM is one of the top 50 projects selected in the EUREKA’s Eurostars Programme.
