MEDISCS, an IT security company,
was established in 2004, and transformed into an SAS joint stock company in 2008, when a major banking group entered into its capital. MEDISCS, today employs 20 people, but is growing fast with the opening up of the electronic signature and 3D Secure market.
MEDISCS, has been supported from its beginnings by OSEO and the Région Languedoc Roussillon. Several large groups have placed their confidence in the company, (Editions Francis Lefebvre, Editions Dalloz, Editions Législatives, CMA CGM, IPAB etc...) MEDISCS has a portfolio of several invention patents. MEDISCS moved into its new 500 m2 premises near Montpellier’s airport in August 2008, complete with an automated production line for the personalisation of its cd card and usb key solutions.
Its activities can be divided into 3 groups :
These portable formats (cd card, dvd, usb key, mobile phones) can contain integrated strong authentication, electronic signature and 3D Secure payment technologies. The TOOAL solutions provide very considerable added value, particularly for ‘home’ Internet users, in terms of simplified use, because all the applications are automatic, with no driver installation required on the computer. The cd card or usb key can be used from any computer, anywhere in the world.
The objective of the MEDISCS security department is to provide security solutions suited to the needs of each client. The difference in information systems and professional processes leads to personalised solutions information system security. Our engineers keep up-to-date with cutting-edge technology and base their work on recognized standards or the MEDISCS Innovation+R&D group to always provide the best security solution. We offer systems operation assistance, during the creation or integration of the solution. The main areas of activity are:
The MEDISCS Innovation-R&D group is permanently in search of solutions and new products to meet the real needs of the market. Mediscs is very sensitive to two indissociable aspects regarding the security of its solutions :
1. Organisational (security policies, conformity audit, regulations,...) 2. Technical (keeping up-to-date technological progress, innovation, R&D,...)

- Assistance with the implementation of an Information Security Management System (SMSI).
